According to the county on the 1st, the National Design Team is an innovative platform that moves away from the traditional supply-centered policy formation process and uses service design techniques centered on the demand side in public policy, improving and developing public services directly with residents from the residents' perspective.
At the operation meeting, the design team composed of 10 members including local residents, field experts, and public officials attended and received explanations about the purpose and operation procedures of the National Design Team activities.
Considering the 'social distancing' level 3 situation due to the resurgence of COVID-19, the county plans to operate the National Design Team in a reduced format with a total of six sessions until October. Instead, the department in charge of the Daebul Industrial Complex vibrant and beautiful street creation project and the basic plan establishment service company will participate together in the National Design Team operation to conduct various discussions aimed at creating a vibrant and beautiful street around Daebul Industrial Complex, and immediately reflect the results in the basic plan.

Meanwhile, Yeongam-gun was selected in April for the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's '2021 Vibrant and Beautiful Street Creation Project' and plans to invest a total of 2.4 billion KRW, including 1 billion KRW in national funds, by 2023 to promote projects aimed at improving the quality of life for local residents and workers in the Daebul Industrial Complex.
