Gyeongnam National University Institute of Far Eastern Affairs Hosts Session at Ministry of Unification's '2021 Korea Peninsula International Peace Forum'

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Institute of Far Eastern Studies at Gyeongnam National University announced on the 31st that it will participate in a session of the Ministry of Unification-hosted '2021 Korea Peninsula International Peace Forum (KGFP 2021)'.
This forum, themed "A New Vision for Inter-Korean Relations and a Peace, Economic, and Life Community on the Korean Peninsula," will be held from the 31st to the 2nd of next month and will be live-streamed on YouTube due to COVID-19.
In the session of the Institute of Far Eastern Studies, moderated by Director Lee Gwan-se, invited research fellows Eva Motiliska and Hirai Hisashi will each present, and Professors Jo Jin-gu and Lee Byung-chul, along with invited research fellows Eom Ppa-bel and Ryang Mi-hwa, will each participate in the discussion.

Director Lee said, "This session will be a meaningful opportunity to explore cooperative strategies among Korea, China, and Japan to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue, a key challenge in Northeast Asia and global affairs, as well as future issues such as ecological and environmental problems."
