Weather Agency Issues 'Heavy Rain Advisory' for All of Seoul...Simultaneous Activation in Parts of Gyeonggi Including Gwangmyeong and Hanam
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Korea Meteorological Administration announced on the 31st at 4 p.m. that a heavy rain advisory will be issued for the entire Seoul area as well as parts of Gyeonggi Province including Gwangmyeong, Hanam, Guri, Goyang, Gimpo, and Bucheon.
A heavy rain advisory is issued when the rainfall is expected to be 60mm or more within 3 hours or 110mm or more within 12 hours.

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "In the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region, very heavy rain accompanied by gusts and thunder and lightning, with hourly rainfall of 50 to 70mm, is expected until tomorrow morning (September 1st). Please be cautious to avoid any damage."
