Damyang-gun Surpasses 75% First Dose COVID-19 Vaccination Rate
Additional Reservations Open Until September 18 for Adults Aged 18-49

On the 31st, Jeonnam Damyang-gun announced that as of 12 PM on the 28th, the number of people who received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Damyang-gun reached 35,020, achieving a vaccination rate of 75%, and the completion rate for the second dose also reached 50%.
Additionally, aiming to complete vaccination for 60% of all residents before Chuseok, the county will actively promote vaccination for about 7,600 young and middle-aged adults aged 18 to 49, who are the main economically active population.
Reservations can be made through the vaccination website or the county call center until September 18, and vaccinations will be conducted at vaccination centers and designated medical institutions until the 30th of next month.
Furthermore, for 300 doses of the Janssen vaccine, which requires only one shot for completion, priority vaccination will be given to local residents who find it difficult to receive two doses due to various circumstances, such as unvaccinated patients in nursing hospitals, unregistered foreigners, and other hopeful individuals. Vaccination can be done after making a reservation through the county call center.
