Jeonju City Establishes Dedicated Archery Training Center for Disabled Athletes
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] A dedicated archery training center for disabled athletes to nurture future Paralympic archery gold medalists will be established in Jeonju City.
Jeonju City announced on the 31st that it plans to invest a total of 400 million KRW by the end of this year to create a dedicated archery training center for disabled athletes by utilizing the upper part of Palbok Reservoir within Hwangbangsan Neighborhood Park.
Jeonju City has currently completed the detailed design for the construction of the disabled archery training center, and plans to build one indoor archery hall and one storage building (188㎡) after completing administrative procedures.
Jeonju City expects that the establishment of a dedicated archery training center for disabled athletes will not only improve the athletes' performance but also help discover and nurture outstanding archery players.
