[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] CJ Logistics announced on the 31st that it will hold the 'CJ Logistics Future Technology Challenge' to discover talented individuals.
The CJ Logistics Future Technology Challenge, held under the theme of 'Open System, Open Data, System & Solutions Innovation,' is an event designed to select talented individuals with innovative ideas and capabilities. Anyone interested or experienced in related fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and software can participate, either individually or in teams of up to four members.
Participants choose one of six tasks?five assigned by category and one free task?and are evaluated on their ability to create a program that applies technologies such as demand forecasting, algorithm analysis, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to the provided data to produce meaningful results. A total of 10 teams will be selected and awarded.
Among the 10 selected teams, the grand prize winner will receive 15 million KRW, two excellence award teams will receive 8 million KRW each, three merit award teams will receive 4 million KRW each, and four honorable mention teams will receive 2 million KRW each, totaling 51 million KRW in prize money.
All awardees will be granted exemptions from the first interview and test stages when applying for employment at CJ Logistics, and will receive a congratulatory bonus of 5 million KRW upon joining the company. Graduating students who express a desire to join after graduation will receive scholarships of 2 million KRW per semester for up to four semesters, and if desired, will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships during vacations.
Applications can be submitted from September 1 to 17 via the link at the top of the CJ Logistics official website, followed by approximately four weeks of project preparation before submitting proposals.
