Kibo, Selection of Public Participation Innovation Ideas
Reflecting Outstanding Innovative Ideas in Practice... Supporting Innovative Growth of Small and Medium Venture Businesses
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 31st that it has selected four outstanding innovative ideas from the 'National Innovation Idea Contest' held over a month since May.
The contest was divided into five categories: ▲Strengthening public service ethics ▲Supporting innovative growth ▲Leading the Korean New Deal ▲Proactive administration and regulatory reform ▲Realizing social value, and a total of 73 ideas from the public were submitted.
For fair evaluation, a National Proposal Review Committee composed of internal and external experts conducted a blind review. After a comprehensive assessment of the proposals' policy suitability, innovativeness, feasibility, potential for performance creation, and effort in preparation, the Citizen Participation Innovation Committee finalized the rankings and award recipients.
The outstanding winning idea proposed by the public was related to 'Expanding participation of technology innovation-leading companies through promotion of excellent technologies and support cases.' The proposal suggested actively supporting the innovative growth of small and venture companies by discovering and sharing excellent technologies and success stories of small and venture companies through online networks.
Since 2017, Kibo has held five innovation idea contests, launching non-face-to-face guarantee products such as One-Click Guarantee, and plans to apply the outstanding ideas selected this time to practical work as well.
