'Gyeonggi-do Smart Industry Disabled Online Job Fair' Opens on the 1st of Next Month
Job Counselor Job Matching, Accompanied Interviews, and Resume Writing Consulting Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The 'Gyeonggi-do Smart Industry Sector Employment Fair for Persons with Disabilities' aimed at securing stable jobs for persons with disabilities will open online on September 1.
Co-hosted by the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation and the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities Gyeonggi Branch, this fair is organized to support employment for persons with disabilities in promising industries of the 4th Industrial Revolution era, such as IT.
Through the fair, companies in the smart industry sector will be attracted to increase the proportion of employees with disabilities in the IT industry, and in cooperation with the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities, subsidiaries of large corporations in the smart industry sector will also be recruited to create quality jobs.
Participants can apply to companies they wish to work for and receive services such as job matching with career counselors, accompanied interviews where they visit hiring companies for interviews, and consulting on writing self-introduction letters.

Considering the COVID-19 situation, the event will be held online in a non-face-to-face format, and persons with disabilities seeking employment can participate through the Gyeonggi-do Disability Employment Fair website from September 1 to 10.
