Jeonnam Autonomous Police Committee Establishes Mutual Cooperation System for Child and Youth Protection and Support
MOU Signing with Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education on the 27th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Jeollanam-do Autonomous Police Committee announced on the 30th that it held a business agreement ceremony on the 27th at the Jeonnam Office of Education Business Office to establish a mutual cooperation system with the Jeonnam Office of Education for the protection and support of children and adolescents.
Through the agreement ceremony, the two organizations agreed to mutually cooperate for proactive responses to safety threats to children and adolescents and for the guidance and protection of youth in crisis.
Details include ▲ discovering and promoting related policies such as information sharing for crime prevention and victim protection against school violence, sexual violence, and child abuse ▲ creating a safe environment around schools by preventing traffic accidents on the way to and from school and in school zones, and supporting patrol activities in crime-vulnerable areas ▲ recovery support for students who are victims of school violence, and other matters agreed upon as necessary through mutual cooperation.
Chairman Jomanhyeong said, “This is a meaningful first step toward the common goal of safety between the two organizations regarding the protection and support of children and adolescents who will be responsible for the future of Jeonnam. Protecting children and adolescents from various crimes is the top priority of our Jeonnam Autonomous Police Committee.”
Superintendent Jang Seok-woong stated, “To grow into safe democratic citizens, creating a safe school environment is essential above all. We will work together with the Jeonnam Autonomous Police Committee to make schools a happy place for all children.”
