Wanju-gun, Agricultural Machinery Rental Available on Saturdays
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju County announced on the 30th that it will operate the agricultural machinery rental offices on Saturdays for three months from September to November.
The Saturday operating hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
On weekdays, Wanju County has also moved the morning hours earlier to 7:30 a.m. and operates until 6 p.m. to facilitate smooth farming work during the busy season.
Currently, Wanju County has four agricultural machinery rental offices: the main office (Gosan) and branches in Samnye, Gui, and Soyang.
To provide prompt rental services, a reservation system is in place, accepting phone reservations at least seven days in advance.
Additionally, to support farmers facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, a 50% discount on agricultural machinery rental fees is being promoted until December this year.
