Sempio Announces Winners of the '2021 Drawing Delicious Memories' Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Sempio announced on the 30th the results of the ‘2021 Drawing Delicious Memories’ campaign awards held on the 27th for children.
‘2021 Drawing Delicious Memories’ is a campaign that Sempio has been running since 2013 to promote the value of cooking and enjoying meals with family. This year, the number of consumers who empathized with the importance of cooking time with their children greatly increased, attracting attention with a record high participation of about 94,000 people.
Through judging, Sempio selected a total of 10 winners, including one grand prize winner and three excellence award winners each in the kindergarten, lower elementary, and upper elementary categories, from works that well expressed the theme of ‘memories with delicious food.’
The grand prize was awarded to Jang Taeyang (9 years old) from the lower elementary category for his work titled ‘Our Family’s Rice Thief Egg Sauce.’ Taeyang humorously expressed the memory of eating his favorite side dish, homemade egg sauce, with his family. The judges highly praised the depiction of Taeyang holding the egg sauce with both hands and bringing it close to his eyes, while his parents look at him with joyful smiles, capturing the ‘happiness that cooking brings’ very well.
The grand prize work will be produced as a special label for Sempio’s No.1 soy sauce in Korea, Sempio Yangjo Soy Sauce 501, and sold nationwide as a limited edition ‘Delicious Memories Soy Sauce.’ Additionally, Sempio gifted a set of representative products from Saemi’s Kitchen to all 94,000 children who participated in Drawing Delicious Memories.
