[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] T map Mobility announced on the 29th that it will launch the 'T Jigeum' service on the 30th, allowing users to see popular places in real time at a glance.
T Jigeum is a service that analyzes and displays driving data from 19 million T map navigation users in real time every 5 minutes.
It sets a radius in units of 500m, 1km, 3km, 5km, 10km, and nationwide, showing up to 50 destinations most frequently set by drivers in order. Users can use it not only by their current location but also by setting an area on the map.
T map explained that users can utilize the service to identify popular places for their desired purposes or to avoid areas with heavy traffic.
T Jigeum will be available from the 30th. When updating T map navigation to the latest version, the existing 'Nearby' tab will be renamed to 'T Jigeum.' Within the T Jigeum tab, users can check locations and statuses of popular places based on years of accumulated data, as well as gas stations, EV charging stations, parking lots, restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, banks, marts, and more.
