Gimhae City Signs Investment Agreement with Six Manufacturing Companies for a Total of 243.5 Billion KRW and 612 New Jobs

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 27th, Gimhae City announced that it has signed investment agreements worth a total of 243.5 billion KRW with six companies in the manufacturing sector.
The investment amounts by company are as follows: Hanjung Plant, relocating its headquarters from Changwon, 4 billion KRW; Plinto, confirming new investment, 3.7 billion KRW; Daegil TF, 5.3 billion KRW; ER Korea, 19.8 billion KRW; Donga Wind Power, 11 billion KRW; and HKTO, 199.7 billion KRW, with a total of 612 new jobs expected to be created.
These companies plan to carry out investments such as land acquisition, facility investment, and new workforce recruitment sequentially by 2023 to settle in industrial complexes including AM High-Tech, Gasan, Myeongdong, Easy, and West Gimhae General Industrial Complexes.
Mayor Heo Seong-gon said, "I hope this large-scale investment agreement will serve as a catalyst for private sector job creation," and added, "In the second half of the year, we will do our best to attract promising companies with potential not only in manufacturing but also in new growth industries."
