[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital achieved a first-grade rating with a comprehensive score of 96.89 in the 7th Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) appropriateness evaluation conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
This evaluation targeted tertiary general hospitals and general hospitals that performed coronary artery bypass grafting on patients hospitalized for ischemic heart disease from July 2019 to June 2020.
Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital received high scores in all major evaluation items, including ▲total number of coronary artery bypass grafting procedures ▲total number of isolated coronary artery bypass grafting procedures ▲rate of coronary artery bypass grafting using the internal thoracic artery ▲aspirin prescription rate at discharge ▲reoperation rate due to postoperative bleeding or hematoma ▲mortality rate (during hospitalization/within 7 days after discharge/within 30 days after surgery).
