Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Wins Grand Prize in 'Good Travel Campaign' Video Contest
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization's 'Good Travel Campaign' launched last year won the grand prize in a video contest.
On the 27th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that its 'Good Travel Campaign' video won the grand prize at the '2021 Local Public Enterprise Media Creation Best Practice Contest' awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Good Travel Campaign was a project promoted by the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization last year to support the local tourism industry, which was facing difficulties due to COVID-19.
During the campaign period, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization supported 50% of the regular price of tourism products, and the respective tourism businesses bore 20%. Through this campaign, tourism businesses were able to generate revenue through advance sales of products, and consumers could purchase products at up to a 70% discount, making it a win-win policy for both suppliers and consumers.
In particular, employees of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization actively participated in the filming and editing process by directly planning the video scenarios and arranging interview subjects to participate in the video contest for the Good Travel Campaign.
