[2022 Early Admission] Hannam University Allows Multiple Applications, No Minimum CSAT Requirement
Hannam University will select a total of 2,516 students (including those beyond the quota) for 55 recruitment units (57 majors) through the 2022 academic year early admission.
Multiple applications across different admission types are allowed, and there is no minimum CSAT score requirement. The Student Record-Based Admission includes the General Admission, which selects candidates based solely on 100% academic grades, as well as the Regional Talent Academic Excellence Admission, Equal Opportunity Admission, Specialized High School Graduate Admission, Rural Student Admission, and Basic Livelihood Security Recipient, Low-Income, and Single-Parent Family Support Admission. The Comprehensive Student Record Admission selects candidates through document evaluation and interviews and includes the Regional Talent Admission, Entrepreneurial Talent Admission, and Multicultural Family Children Admission.
The Hannam Talent Admission (the College of Education conducts interviews) selects candidates based solely on document evaluation. The Regional Talent Academic Excellence Admission and Regional Talent Admission are open to high school graduates (or prospective graduates) from Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk regions, where the applicant must have attended (or graduated from) a high school in the respective region from admission through graduation.
The comprehensive document evaluation assesses major suitability, academic capability, and character holistically through academic and extracurricular records. The Hannam Talent Admission and Entrepreneurial Talent Admission consider both student records and self-introduction letters, while the Regional Talent Admission and Multicultural Family Children Admission evaluate only student records, so submitting a self-introduction letter is not required. The interview evaluation for the Comprehensive Student Record Admission is conducted as a document verification interview based on student records to verify the applicant’s major suitability and character.
The Student Record-Based Admission reflects all subjects from all grades equally. Subjects with rank grades (1 to 9) and those without rank grades but with provided standard deviations (such as small-number subjects and specialized subjects II) are evaluated by applying the number of completed credits. Career exploration subjects are averaged arithmetically by raw scores and added as bonus points (up to 3 points) to the total score.
