Suncheon City to Train Local Marketers Specialized in Live Commerce
Recruitment of Participants for Live Commerce and Show Host Training Until the 10th of Next Month
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 27th that it will target the rapidly growing live commerce market.
Experts predict that the live commerce market, which was worth around 400 billion KRW last year, will grow to around 10 trillion KRW by 2023, and some companies are focusing all their efforts on discovering live commerce show hosts and marketers.
Suncheon City is also promoting the ‘Local Marketer Development Project’ to discover specialized live commerce marketers.
The ‘Live Commerce Specialized Local Marketer Development Project,’ hosted by Suncheon Startup Yeondang and Suncheon National University and sponsored by Maeil Food, is an educational program designed to train various local talents as specialized live commerce marketers to sell local products. From next month 16th until October 28th, twice a week, live commerce theory and mobile show host training will be conducted at Suncheon National University.
Participants in the training will also be given the opportunity to conduct a total of two Naver Shopping Live broadcasts after completing the course.
Any residents of Jeollanam-do interested in live commerce and digital marketing can participate, and applications can be submitted to Suncheon Startup Yeondang by the 10th of next month.
