The Global Information Security Portal System is a dedicated information security portal system for overseas branches, built by analyzing the global information security management system based on the international information security standard (ISO 27001) and Shinhan Financial Group's global information security standards.
This system serves as an integrated system for managing information security across Shinhan Bank's 160 networks in 20 countries, significantly improving the security management of overseas branches, which are relatively vulnerable compared to domestic branches, thereby providing more stable support for the information security sector of Shinhan Bank's global business division.
Key support functions include ▲integrated monitoring of major information security items such as information leakage detection status ▲management of information assets and vulnerability inspections at overseas branches ▲management of security solution installation status at overseas branches. A major feature is the establishment of a systematic monitoring and response system in response to the increasing information security threat risks at overseas branches.
Additionally, in the long term, to operate an autonomous security system for each overseas branch, local information security officers can collect and manage big data generated from each branch's security system and operate it directly, supported by multilingual functions. In the second half of the year, additional systems will be launched to complete an integrated global information security platform.
