Chosun University Hosts 'Target Company Analysis Contest for Job Applicants'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Chosun University Career Center announced on the 26th that it will hold the ‘2021 Target Company Analysis Contest for Job Seekers.’
The ‘ASAP Complete Analysis of My Target Company! 2021 Target Company Analysis Contest,’ starting on the 30th, was launched to strengthen job seekers’ self-directed target company analysis and the competencies needed for employment.
The contest requires participants to select a target company, research and analyze data, then create a goal achievement plan necessary for employment, and submit it as a report in a PowerPoint file of about 30 slides.
Participants who attend the ‘Company (Industry) Analysis and Employment Strategy Online Special Lecture’ held on the 16th of next month will receive up to 5 bonus points.
Eleven teams that submit excellent reports will be awarded. Based on the selection criteria, one grand prize team, two excellence award teams, two merit award teams, and six encouragement award teams will be selected and given scholarships. Additionally, all participants will receive 10 Cultural Mileage points and 7 Employment Tree points.
The contest is open to Chosun University students, who can participate individually or in teams. Applications must be submitted through the Student Integrated Support System’s extracurricular program by the 14th of next month. Detailed information can be found on the Chosun University website.
Through this, students are expected to organize the competencies needed for employment, establish employment plans, and enhance their understanding of organizations through company and industry analysis, helping them become talents suitable for organizations.
Yoon Onam, head of the University Career Center, said, “According to the 2021 academic year University Career Center career and employment/startup new program development survey analysis, there was high demand for job competency enhancement programs and contest programs as practical preparation programs for employment/startup,” adding, “We held the contest to operate a demand-centered program.”
