Hyosung Supports Economic Return of Women with Career Experience
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Hyosung announced on the 25th that it donated 70 million KRW to the Jongno Women's Human Resources Development Center located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to support employment activation programs for vulnerable women who have difficulty re-employment, such as experienced women and middle-aged women.
Since 2013, Hyosung has annually supported training courses such as social welfare practitioners, care teachers, and ERP logistics office managers at the Jongno Women's Human Resources Development Center, and so far, more than 240 women have obtained new jobs through this program.
This year, from August for about three months, care teacher training programs and caregiver training programs will be operated for about 30 people. Even after the program ends, regular employment counseling, job search information provision, and job placement support will be provided until successful employment is achieved.
A Hyosung official stated, "In a situation where re-employment for women has become more difficult due to the spread of COVID-19, we hope this will be of some help to all those who participated in the vulnerable women employment activation program."
