Happy Management University is a free CEO course created to strengthen the leadership and network of SME CEOs. Since its launch in 2016, it has produced 9 classes and over 400 Happy Management CEOs.
Happy Management is a management model that prioritizes employee happiness and pursues maximizing the happiness of stakeholders rather than profit maximization. Cho Youngtak, CEO of Hunet who planned the course, has adopted Happy Management as the company's management philosophy since its founding in 1999.
Eligibility requires CEOs of companies established for more than 3 years with at least 30 employees. However, venture company CEOs with a strong will to practice Happy Management may apply under special consideration even if they do not meet the qualifications. After document screening, a total of 50 people will be selected. The application deadline is September 9.
The education will be conducted online and offline over 10 weeks. The tuition is completely free. Offline classes are held every Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Hunet Campus located in Guro Digital Complex, Seoul.
Special lectures will be given by notable figures such as Son Wook, Chairman of Happy Sharing 125, and Lee Geumryong, Chairman of Coglo.com. After completion, lifelong membership to the online education 'Hunet CEO' for CEOs and opportunities to attend the monthly breakfast meeting 'Happy Management Forum' will be provided. Affiliated companies will also receive free employee training to support growth into strong small enterprises.
