aT Appoints Yoon Mi-jung as Director of Food Promotion Division... First Female Director in 54 Years Since Foundation
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) announced on the 20th that, as of the 23rd, Yoon Mijeong has been appointed as the Director of the Food Promotion Department, becoming the first female director in the corporation's history.
Director Yoon has continued to hold the title of 'First Female' by being promoted to the corporation's first female Grade 2 Manager in 2016 and now as the first female director. Since joining in 1991, she has been recognized for her expertise in export, public relations, and exhibition conventions.
The corporation has been striving to achieve gender equality, including appointing Bae Okbyeong as the first female standing director and Supply Director in July, marking the first time in the corporation's half-century history.
