View original imageThe Yonsei University East-West Research Institute announced on the 20th that it will jointly hold a symposium commemorating the 75th anniversary of India's independence over two days, from the 23rd to the 24th, together with the Indian Cultural Centre in Korea, the India Foundation, and the Jammu and Kashmir Study Centre (JKSC).
Under the theme "Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh: Dynamics of Development and Future Directions," the event will feature keynote speeches by Yonsei University President Suh Seung-hwan, Sri Priya Ranganathan, the Indian Ambassador to Korea, R. K. Mathur, the first Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, and D. K. Patnaik, an Indian parliamentarian.
