According to Mokpo Coast Guard on the 20th, a report was received on the 19th at 8:55 a.m. that Mr. A (in his 60s) injured his eye while mowing grass on Oebyeongdo, Jodo-myeon, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do.
The Coast Guard dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the police substation, boarded the patient, and quickly transported him, arriving at Seomang Port at 10:06 p.m. that day, handing him over to the 119 ambulance team waiting in advance.
Subsequently, at around 3:40 p.m. on the same day, the Coast Guard received a report that Ms. B (female, in her 60s) suffered a severe shoulder injury and was unable to move in Haedo, Shinan-gun, and safely transported the patient to Jindo Suimi Port using a patrol vessel, handing her over to the 119 ambulance team.
Both emergency patients urgently transported with the help of the Coast Guard were moved to a large hospital in Mokpo and are currently receiving treatment.
