[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Three new COVID-19 cases were confirmed overnight in Muan, Jeonnam, prompting health authorities to remain on high alert.
According to the county on the 20th, cases number 67 (from Paju, Gyeonggi), 68 (from Gwangju), and 69 (from Mokpo) all have addresses in different regions but were tested at the Muan County screening clinic and confirmed positive, thus classified as Muan County cases.
They are coworkers who worked together at a construction site in the Muan area.
A Muan County official stated, "We have completed disinfection of the local routes identified so far," adding, "Detailed epidemiological investigation results, including infection routes and contact tracing, will be announced via the website and emergency text messages."
