Police Arrests Man in His 40s for Attacking Father with Weapon Over Living Expenses Dispute
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 40s who injured his father with a weapon has been arrested by the police.
Seoul Gangdong Police Station announced on the 18th that Mr. A has been booked on charges of attempted patricide.
Mr. A is accused of attempting to kill his father by stabbing his shoulder multiple times with a weapon at his parents' home located in Gangdong-gu around 2 p.m. the previous day.
It is known that Mr. A committed the crime after an argument with his father over the issue of the father squandering the living expenses earned by his mother.
