Gyeongsang National University Selected as 'General Financial Support University' in 2021 University Basic Competency Assessment Results
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gyeongsang National University announced on the 17th that it was selected as a 'General Financial Support University' in the Ministry of Education's '2021 University Basic Competency Diagnosis' provisional results.
The Ministry of Education comprehensively evaluated quantitative and qualitative factors across 13 indicators in 6 categories: university development plan performance, educational environment, university management accountability, class and curriculum operation, student support, and educational outcomes.
Gyeongsang National University has continuously pursued policies to enhance the quality of university education by strengthening accountability as the national flagship university of Gyeongnam and increasing public interest and autonomy.
Following the provisional pass of the University Basic Competency Diagnosis, if it is finally selected as a 'General Financial Support University' by the Ministry of Education at the end of August, Gyeongsang National University will be able to receive general financial support (University Innovation Support Project funds) for three years from 2022 to 2024.
