Wanju-gun Iseo-myeon Provides Summer Blankets to Vulnerable Groups
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] On the 17th, Iseo-myeon, Wanju-gun announced that it has provided 20 summer blankets to protect the health and safety of residents vulnerable to heat waves.
Iseo-myeon selected target households among low-income vulnerable groups through home visits, considering housing conditions and hygiene vulnerable to heat waves, and delivered summer blankets.
Kim Ui-cheol, head of Iseo-myeon, said, "I hope this support will help vulnerable groups suffering from the double hardship of COVID-19 and heat waves to have a healthy summer," and added, "We will continue to identify the needs of vulnerable groups and do our best to reduce welfare blind spots."
