Hapcheon Museum Hosts Special Exhibition 'Gaya Manhwabang'
Special Exhibition to Experience Gaya's History and Culture Through Comics
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon Museum in Gyeongnam, with the support of the National Gimhae Museum, Gyeongsangnam-do, and the Gaya Tumuli UNESCO World Heritage Registration Promotion Team, is holding a special exhibition titled "Gaya Manhwabang," where visitors can experience the history and culture of Gaya through comics. The exhibition will be held from the 17th of this month to December 26th in the planning exhibition hall and lounge.
This special exhibition introduces drawings by Ssangchaek Elementary School students themed on the Okjeon Tumuli and Hapcheon Museum, as well as award-winning works from the Gaya Webtoon Contest held by the National Gimhae Museum since 2018.
Additionally, in the lounge's comic room, visitors can comfortably sit and enjoy various historical comic books.
Other experiences include the "Gaya Adventure" newtro game produced on the theme of Gaya, as well as activities such as "Drawing Along with Webtoons" and "Speech Bubble Certification Shots."
