Gangjin Regional Lions Club Donates Daily Necessities for Flood Victims
Delivery of Ramen and Toilet Paper Worth 2.5 Million Won to 70 Households

View original image[Gangjin=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] On the 17th, Jeonnam Gangjin-gun announced that the Gangjin Regional Lions Club (District Chairman Park Pil-nam) designated daily necessities for flood-affected households struggling due to the heavy rain in early last month.
At the donation ceremony, District Chairman Park Pil-nam of Gangjin, Kim Kyung-seok, President of Gangjin Club, Kim Hak-jae, President of Doam Club, and Park Soon-seo, Secretary of Maryang Club, attended and delivered daily necessities worth a total of 2.5 million won, including 70 boxes of ramen and 70 packs of toilet paper.
The donated items were designated and entrusted to the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest and will be delivered to 70 households affected by the flood damage in the area.
Chairman Park Pil-nam said, “We requested support from the international headquarters to help households struggling due to the sudden rain damage, even if only a little,” and added, “We will continue to practice donations and volunteer work for neighbors in need in the region.”
County Governor Lee Seung-ok said, “We thank the members of the Gangjin Regional Lions Club who donated daily necessities to help neighbors recovering from flood damage,” and added, “We will deliver the donated items to provide comfort to the flood victims.”
