IBK Industrial Bank delivers 'IBK Hope Refrigerator' to COVID-19 medical staff
Donation of 150 Million KRW Delivered to Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 17th that it has donated 150 million KRW through the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support frontline medical staff and quarantine workers who are striving to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of IBK President Yoon Jong-won, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association President Song Pil-ho, and other officials. The donation will be used to install an ‘IBK Hope Refrigerator’ inside clinics for frontline medical staff and quarantine workers who find it difficult to leave their posts even during breaks, as well as to provide snack packages including beverages.

President Yoon said, “I hope the ‘IBK Hope Refrigerator’ offers some comfort to the medical staff who cannot take off their protective suits even in the heat,” and added, “IBK will continue to fulfill its responsibilities as a corporate citizen through various social contribution activities.”
