Man in his 50s Arrested for Crashing into Parking Lot Wall with Wife During Argument
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 50s who crashed into a parking garage wall after arguing with his wife inside the car was arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 17th, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul has arrested Mr. A on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently investigating.
Mr. A is accused of arguing with his wife over money inside a passenger car parked in an underground parking lot and then driving the car into a wall. A report of the accident was received around 7:20 p.m. the previous day at an underground parking lot of an apartment in Gwangjin-gu.
Mr. A's wife sustained fractures and was taken to a nearby hospital, but it is understood that she was not seriously injured.
The police believe that Mr. A deliberately caused the accident, noting the absence of 'skid marks' on the floor that usually appear during sudden braking.
