According to Kyodo News, citing Chubu Electric Power, the operator of the nuclear power plant, fire alarms on the 1st and 3rd floors of the turbine building of Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant Unit 5 were activated multiple times. It was confirmed that a worker noticed smoke.
