Ottogi Launches Three Varieties of 'Omu Gonrice'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Ottogi has launched three types of 'Gon Rice' on the 13th through its online convenient meal brand 'Omu,' which pursues healthiness.
Recently, with the increased time spent at home due to COVID-19, there has been a growing number of consumers paying attention to health and weight management. In response, Ottogi released convenient meals using 'Gonyak,' which is rich in moisture and dietary fiber.
'Gon Rice' consists of three varieties: oat mixed grains, mushroom doenjang, and spicy pork gochujang. The product combines 'Gonyak rice,' which is konjac processed into rice shapes, with mixed grains such as oats, barley, and brown rice, offering a high feeling of fullness and diverse textures despite low calories.
'Gon Rice Oat Mixed Grains' features a savory taste faithful to the basics, making it easy to pair with various side dishes. 'Gon Rice Mushroom Doenjang' stimulates the appetite with the rich flavor of doenjang, and 'Gon Rice Spicy Pork Gochujang' enhances a spicy umami taste by adding gochujang and pork.
