DB Insurance Selected for Major-Star Problem Solver Platform 'Bio-Health Challenge'

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] DB Insurance announced on the 13th that it will participate as a large enterprise demand company in the 'Dae-Star (Large Enterprise-Startup) Problem Solver Platform Part 3 - Autonomous Driving, Bio' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, promoting open innovation with startups in the healthcare field.
The contest opened its tasks and began recruiting participating companies on the 2nd. The bio-healthcare sector of the Dae-Star Problem Solver Platform is organized by the Korea Standards Association, with nine companies participating including DB Insurance, ▲Google-Lapas ▲Celltrion ▲Kyungpook National University Hospital-GE Healthcare-Microsoft ▲Korea Roche ▲Seegene Medical Foundation.
DB Insurance presented the task of 'non-face-to-face mental health counseling and treatment services' in the digital healthcare field. The core of the task is a counseling reservation service that quickly matches users needing mental health management with medical service providers and provides non-face-to-face treatment services to reserved users.
The contest proceeds through selection evaluation, data disclosure and mentoring, and a final competition, selecting grand prizes (5 million KRW), excellence awards (3 million KRW), and merit awards (2 million KRW) for each task.
In particular, startups winning the grand prize for each task in the contest will receive up to 200 million KRW in commercialization funds for one year through linkage with the 2022 Ministry of SMEs and Startups startup support project. Additionally, technology development funds (up to 600 million KRW) and technology special guarantee (up to 2 billion KRW) will be linked and supported.

Startups with innovative ideas and technologies to solve the task proposed by DB Insurance can apply online through the K-Startup Startup Support Portal website by 4 p.m. on the 19th.
