Shinhan Life views the WM business as a core pillar for future growth and has newly established the WM Headquarters, expanding and reorganizing it into three organizations: the WM Chapter, WM Center, and the Inheritance and Gift Research Institute.
The WM Chapter formulates comprehensive business strategies and conducts marketing activities targeting high-net-worth clients. It operates a 'Professional FC' system by selecting outstanding financial consultants (FCs). The plan is to expand this to about 300 members in the second half of the year and strengthen collaboration with major group companies within Shinhan Financial Group, thereby establishing a sales support system.
The WM Center collaborates with 18 external affiliated consulting institutions, including tax, labor, and law firms, to meet client demands and provide in-depth wealth management services.
The Inheritance and Gift Research Institute develops specialized inheritance and gifting content, expanding its focus not only to the wealthy but also to clients who have recently shown interest due to the rise in asset values such as real estate and stocks. It plans to present differentiated content and services through trend research, research reports, and seminars.
