Gyeonggi-do Hosts 'Kkumullim Career Festival' for Out-of-School Youth Career Expo

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is hosting a career fair for 'out-of-school youth.'
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 11th that it will hold the '2021 Kkumwoollim Career Festival' divided into dance, dance performance, and band categories from October 13 to November 13, and will begin accepting applications until the 3rd of next month.
Now in its 4th year, the Kkumwoollim Career Festival is a career fair established by Gyeonggi Province in 2018 as the first of its kind nationwide for out-of-school youth.
This year, combining the advantages of online and offline formats, the festival will be held as the Kkumwoollim Competition, Kkijaengi Selection Contest, and e-Kkumwoollim Career Festival.
The Kkumwoollim Competition is a contest where out-of-school youth can showcase their diverse talents. On October 14, dance, dance performance, and band performance competitions will be held, along with an exhibition themed 'Meeting.' The performance competitions and exhibition will be conducted simultaneously online and offline.
Additionally, the e-Kkumwoollim Career Festival, an online event to prepare out-of-school youth for further education and employment, will be divided into three areas: Career Zone (education and jobs), Participation Zone, and Kkumdeulim Zone (promotion).
Various content such as information on further education will be broadcast through the online platform. Out-of-school youth can access the online platform without restrictions on time and place to receive necessary information and participate in programs.
As a preliminary contest to promote the Kkumwoollim Career Festival, the Kkijaengi Selection Contest will also be held. Out-of-school youth in the province can apply in two categories?drawings (posters, mascots) and videos?until August 19. Outstanding works will be selected and awarded during the Kkumwoollim Career Festival period.
