Israel Reports Over 6,000 New COVID-19 Cases Amid High Vaccination Rates... Highest in Six Months

According to local media such as The Jerusalem Post on the 10th (local time), the number of new confirmed cases in Israel as of the 9th was recorded at 6,275.
This is the highest number in over six months since February 8.
The positive rate compared to the total number of tests is 4.8%, the highest level in about five months.
Israel's first-dose vaccination rate is 62% (about 5.81 million) of the population (approximately 9.3 million), and the second-dose vaccination rate is around 58%.
Based on the high vaccination rate, Israel's daily new confirmed cases in June were in single digits, with a positive rate of only 0.1%.
