KB Securities "Use ISA Account and Get Starbucks Coupons to Stylers"
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Securities is offering various gift certificates to customers using the brokerage-type Individual Savings Account (ISA).
KB Securities announced on the 10th that it will hold an event until October 29, where brokerage-type ISA customers who meet specific conditions will receive prizes such as Starbucks Americano coupons, Shinsegae mobile gift certificates, and various home appliances.
The "brokerage-type ISA" is an account that allows trading of individual stocks listed domestically. If losses occur from investing in domestic stocks, these can be offset by combining gains and losses from other financial products, enabling tax savings. Net profits up to 2 million KRW (4 million KRW for low-income subscribers) are tax-exempt, and amounts exceeding this enjoy a low separate taxation rate of 9.9%.
First, customers with brokerage-type ISA account balances of 1 KRW or less who make a net deposit of 1 million KRW or more during the event period will receive one Starbucks Americano coupon. If customers trade event-eligible products such as stocks, ETFs, funds (excluding MMFs), and ELS(B)/DLS(B) worth 1 million KRW, 5 million KRW, or 10 million KRW or more and maintain the balance until October 29, they will receive Shinsegae mobile gift certificates worth 5,000 KRW, 10,000 KRW, and 20,000 KRW respectively.
Customers who purchase public equity funds managed by five asset management companies?KB Asset Management, Mirae Asset Global Investments, Korea Investment Management, Samsung Asset Management, and Fidelity Asset Management?through their brokerage-type ISA accounts will also receive mobile gift certificates. For net purchases of 1 million KRW, 5 million KRW, and 10 million KRW or more, Shinsegae mobile gift certificates worth 5,000 KRW, 10,000 KRW, and 20,000 KRW will be provided respectively. Among customers with net purchases of 1 million KRW or more, a lottery will be held to award prizes such as LG Styler, LG mini air purifier, and mobile national tourism gift certificates.
Mobile gift certificates will also be given to customers who transfer their accounts to KB Securities brokerage-type ISA and maintain their balances. For account transfers of 1 million KRW, 10 million KRW, and 20 million KRW or more, Shinsegae mobile gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW, 20,000 KRW, and 30,000 KRW will be provided respectively. If customers purchase stocks, ETFs, funds (excluding MMFs), and ELS(B)/DLS(B) products worth 1 million KRW or more after the transfer, a lottery will be held to award prizes such as Ceragem medical appliances, Galaxy Tab, and LG mini air purifier. This event cannot be combined with the previous event benefits.
Customers who open brokerage-type ISA accounts by the end of this year will also receive preferential benefits for public offering subscription. Customers who have made net deposits of 1 million KRW or more in their brokerage-type ISA accounts by the end of the previous month as of the subscription date will receive a 150% preferential benefit for public offering subscription. When opening a brokerage-type ISA account online, customers will receive lifetime benefits on online domestic stock trading commissions for the brokerage-type ISA account. Additionally, first-time subscribers to the securities information subscription service Prime Club will receive three months free.
