LG Innotek Joins 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] LG Innotek announced on the 10th that President Jeong Cheol-dong participated in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge.'
President Jeong joined the event upon the recommendation of Cho Seong-hwan, CEO of Hyundai Mobis. He nominated Kim Won-kyu, CEO of STATS ChipPAC Korea, and Seong Gyu-dong, CEO of EO Technics, as the next participants.
President Jeong said, "I hope this campaign serves as an opportunity to raise social awareness about children's traffic safety," adding, "LG Innotek will also contribute to ensuring that children grow up healthy in a safe environment."
LG Innotek has continuously engaged in activities to establish a culture of children's traffic safety. In June, as part of its social contribution program 'Inno Dream Day,' the company donated over 500 children's safety umbrellas to local children's centers and social welfare centers across its nationwide workplaces in Seoul, Gumi, Gwangju, and Pyeongtaek.

The safety umbrellas provided by LG Innotek are transparent with a highly visible design. They are designed to secure the child's field of vision while allowing drivers to accurately identify the child's location. Approximately 340 LG Innotek employees participated in the production of these umbrellas to help prevent children's traffic accidents.
