LG CNS Expands Smart Factory Security Ecosystem... Investment in Domestic and International Companies
LG CNS is strengthening its collaborative ecosystem for smart factory security.
According to LG CNS on the 10th, the company invested 1 billion KRW earlier this month in 'Indeoporest,' a domestic manufacturing operational technology (OT) white-hacking specialist company. At the end of June, it invested 3 million USD (approximately 3.4 billion KRW) in 'Claroty,' an Israeli OT security specialist company.
Indeoporest is a domestic small and strong company specialized in white-hacking for smart factories. LG CNS plans to enhance the completeness of its security vulnerability diagnosis services through synergy with its own white-hacker organization, the 'Red Team.'
Claroty possesses a security solution that monitors the data flow of smart factories in real time. It detects and responds to forged data values caused by external intrusions in real time. LG CNS plans to collaborate with Claroty in areas such as solution development and platform construction.
In addition, LG CNS has formed partnerships with external security specialist companies to provide security services to its clients. It has joined hands with domestic and international security firms such as Samjong KPMG, AhnLab, Igloo Security, and Palo Alto Networks.
In May, LG CNS launched the security service brand 'SecuXper' and provides converged security covering 'OT security' for smart factories, 'IT security' for office environments including cloud, and 'Internet of Things (IoT) security' essential for building smart cities.
