Sempio Announces Introduction of 'Consumer-Centered Management'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Sempio, the Center for Korean Taste Research, announced the introduction of 'Consumer-Centered Management (CCM)' on the 6th.
Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) is a system operated by the Korea Consumer Agency and certified biennially by the Fair Trade Commission, which organizes all corporate management activities around consumers and continuously improves them. Sempio decided to introduce CCM to strengthen the customer-centered system in all company management activities and to actively implement it.
At the proclamation ceremony, CEO Park Jin-sun and executives declared 'Our Commitment to Consumer-Centered Management' in unison, resolving to place customers at the center of all activities and strive to provide products and services that satisfy customers. Additionally, Kim Jung-soo, head of the Public Relations Division, was appointed as Chief Customer Officer (CCO), and a CCM Secretariat was established to operate an efficient customer-centered management system.

Sempio has conducted activities for consumers with 'contribution to the local community' as a core value. To effectively reflect the diverse voices of consumers, Sempio introduced a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in 2015 and publicly shares the results of its Korean taste research, which scientifically studies ingredients and cooking methods of Korean dining tables, free of charge on its website.
