Fortunately, another nearby fishing boat rescued all 9 crew members.
The anglers on the sunken fishing boat told the Coast Guard, "While fishing on board, a warning sound came from the wheelhouse, and the stern began to sink, causing the boat to sink rapidly."
The Tongyeong Coast Guard confirmed that the captain was not driving under the influence and that the number of people on board did not exceed the limit.
