Sancheong-gun, Use 'Ansim Call' Even When Using Public Transportation
Strengthened Quarantine Measures... Installed at 117 Locations Including Buses, Taxis, and Bus Stops
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 6th that it will implement the Safe Call service at public transportation facilities as part of strengthened COVID-19 prevention measures.
According to the county, multi-use facilities such as restaurants have managed entry through QR code scanning, entry log registration, or Safe Call phone calls.
However, public transportation has faced difficulties in managing such entry logs.
To improve this situation, the county will distribute Safe Call numbers to route buses (14 vehicles), charter buses (35 vehicles), and taxis (63 vehicles) to implement the service.
Four locations including the terminal and stops (Sancheong Terminal, Saengcho Stop, Deoksan Stop, Wonji Stop) will also use Safe Call to manage entry. Additionally, thermal cameras have been installed at Sancheong Terminal and Wonji Stop, which have high passenger traffic.

A county official stated, “The Safe Call service is simpler compared to the QR code method, which elderly people find difficult to use, and the handwritten entry log method, which takes time to fill out, so it has received positive responses from residents. We will continue to strive to ensure that residents can use public transportation safely and conveniently.”
