Hansol PNS Enters Smart Factory Business... Acquires Koever Information Technology
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Junhyung] Hansol PNS announced on the 6th that it will acquire Coever Information Technology, a smart factory platform specialist company. Hansol PNS will acquire 53% of Coever Information Technology's shares for approximately 9 billion KRW.
Coever Information Technology, established in 2006, provides a platform optimized for smart factories through artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Recognized for its technological expertise in energy management systems specialized for manufacturing sites, it has also succeeded in pioneering overseas markets such as Japan and Vietnam.
Through this acquisition, Hansol PNS plans to secure technological capabilities related to smart factories and pursue business diversification.

A Hansol PNS official stated, "This acquisition enables us to enter the promising smart factory sector, which is considered a key area in the Fourth Industrial Revolution," adding, "We expect to create synergy with the information technology (IT) capabilities we already possess."
