Yeonggwang-gun Installs 'Gwaengi Galmaegi Sculpture' at Sunset Observatory
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 6th that a 'Black-tailed Gull Sculpture' has been installed in the center of the Sunset Observatory on Baeksu Coastal Road.
The Black-tailed Gull sculpture (titled 'Endless Love') is 3.6 meters high and 3.2 meters wide, created and installed to embody the beautiful love and wishes for a hundred years of happiness of all visitors to Baeksu Coastal Road.
An official from the county said, "The newly installed Black-tailed Gull sculpture will provide tourists with a unique attraction and wish for the beautiful and eternal love of visitors to Baeksu Coastal Road," adding, "We will continue to promote the development of Baeksu Coastal Road as a tourist destination, including the creation of a sunset tourist site."
