hy Introduces Specialty Product Distribution Service ‘Fresh Manager PICK’ for Local Business Win-Win
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] hy announced on the 5th that it will launch a specialty product distribution service called ‘Fresh Manager PICK’.
‘Fresh Manager PICK’ is a business utilizing a network of 11,000 Fresh Managers (hereafter FM) nationwide. It is a service that sells specialty products recommended by FMs across the country through the online mall Preditt. The concept is based on the fact that FMs have an average of 9.1 years of activity in one region, giving them a high level of understanding of local specialty products, popular restaurants, and neighborhood commercial districts.
hy expects a win-win synergy by revitalizing local commercial districts and expanding the product categories of Preditt through this business. Sellers can use Preditt, an online mall with one million members, as a sales channel.
There are no restrictions on product categories. Anything from local specialties to seasonal products is possible. Entry is subject to hy’s verification of FM-recommended products. The responsible MD decides on entry after market research and meetings with sellers. FMs earn additional income through commissions for introductions.
The first products of ‘Fresh Manager PICK’ are ▲Uiseong Garlic from Gyeongbuk ▲Jincheon Pickled Vegetables ▲Jeju Omegitteok and Olle Honey Bread ▲Four types of Jeju Black Pork. These were carefully selected from 54 initially proposed items based on high marketability. During August, eight more products will be added, making a total of 12 products to be introduced sequentially.
hy supports sellers through online marketing. A dedicated ‘Fresh Manager PICK’ section will be separately opened on Preditt, and product introductions in storytelling format will enhance consumer understanding. Additional reward points and discount coupons will be provided to customers using the service.
Delivery services through FMs are also under consideration. Local small business owners can sell various products ranging from room temperature items to fresh foods by utilizing hy’s nationwide cold chain system.
