31 COVID-19 Cases in Gyeongnam... Contact Infections Continue Mainly in Changwon and Gimhae
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongnam Province announced on the 3rd that 31 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in the province after 5 p.m. on the 2nd.
By region, there were 17 cases in Changwon, 9 in Gimhae, 3 in Haman, and 2 in Geoje.
Among the confirmed cases in Changwon, except for one Korean national who entered from Turkey, all were locally transmitted infections.
More than half of these confirmed cases, 20 people, were infected through contact with existing confirmed cases in the province, such as family or acquaintances.
One of the confirmed cases in Geoje had contact with a confirmed case in Busan.
The infection routes of 9 cases are under investigation.
