BDI, Newly Recruits External Cooperation Expert... 'Accelerating Renewable Energy Business'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Eco-energy global leading company VIDI is expanding its business in the renewable energy sector by recruiting new experts in external cooperation.
VIDI announced on the 30th that it has newly appointed ‘Lee Changseon’ as Senior Advisor for the Renewable Energy Division.
The newly recruited Senior Advisor Lee Changseon has served as ‘Deputy Head of the Legal Support Group for Presidential Candidate Moon Jae-in,’ ‘Vice Chairman of the Legal Committee of the Democratic Party Central Party,’ and ‘Legal Support Group for Lee Jae-myung, Democratic Party Presidential Primary Candidate.’ He will be responsible for external cooperation tasks in renewable energy projects centered on the government, public enterprises, and local governments.
VIDI has grown over the past 30 years by gaining recognition for its technology and know-how in the power plant business sector. Last year, it recorded sales of 196.4 billion KRW, achieving its highest performance since its establishment. VIDI is currently promoting renewable energy and bio-business as future growth engines.
A VIDI official said, “In line with the global spread of eco-friendly trends, VIDI has strengthened its external cooperation division to expand its renewable energy business,” adding, “We will strive to establish ourselves as a leading eco-energy company not only in the domestic market but also globally.”
He continued, “VIDI has achieved outstanding results even in competition with large corporations in the domestic renewable energy sector,” and added, “To enter the U.S. market in the future, we are strengthening cooperation with our local partner, ‘Advantage Capital PSI Solar LLC (ACPS).”
