[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] SK Hynix announced on the 29th that it has donated 500 million KRW to the 'Good Wind·Hope Warmth' campaign organized by the Comprehensive Support Center for Elderly Living Alone.
This campaign, which started in 2011, aims to improve the poor living conditions of elderly people living alone who are vulnerable to heatwaves and cold waves by providing cooling and heating supplies to recipients of elderly customized care services. The donation ceremony was held via video conference yesterday afternoon. The cooling supplies (window air conditioners and circulators) totaling 1,500 units and heating supplies (heated mats) totaling 500 units purchased with the donation will be primarily provided to the areas of Icheon and Cheongju, where SK Hynix business sites are located, as well as Yongin, Anseong, and Gwangju, which are surrounding areas where the Yongin semiconductor cluster will be established.
